Choctaw Tribal School System
The Choctaw Tribal School System is a school district based in the community of Choctaw, Mississippi (USA). A non-public entity operated by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians,〔(【引用サイトリンク】 Choctaw Tribal Schools )〕 the district consists of eight schools in three counties – Neshoba, Leake, and Newton – and has a total enrollment of 1,700 to 1,800 students.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 Education ) 〕 It is the largest unified and locally-controlled Indian school system in the United States. The current Director of Schools is Mr. Terry Ben.〔
